Harry Potter is really a great book... Just saying.
J.K. Rowling, who is a flaming liberal, with whom I disagree whole-heartedly in many aspects of real life, has resisted the temptations of the world and actually written appropriate literature for everyone! Not to mention she ignored the nagging of the public and she took her time to actually finish a plot! Stephenie Meyer, on the other hand, a devout Christian - a Mormon, even, who I would expect to have higher standards - succumbed to the temptations and wrote not only a crappy series with a horrible and anticlimactic ending, but the last book had plenty of smut. It was far from appropriate, and I was very disappointed.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Twilight for a bit (before the 4th book came out), but people who compare it to Harry Potter? Hahahaha. Ahahahaha.
